Produce Safety Rule Assessment: Assessments done at the GAP level for operations growing and harvesting produce and/or at the facility level for operations storing, cooling, and/or packing fresh produce. Evaluation of practices to assess compliance against the Standards for the Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding of Produce for Human Consumption rule (21 CFR 112).
Preventive Controls for Human Foods Rule Assessment: Evaluation of a company’s food safety program including the hazard analysis, preventive controls, and corresponding procedures to assess compliance against the Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Human Food (21 CFR 117).
Foreign Supplier Verification Program Assessment: Evaluation of an importer’s FSVP program including hazard analysis, supplier approval and verification activities, corrective actions and corresponding records, covering all aspects of the Foreign Supplier Verification Program for Food Importers (21 CFR 1 subpart L).
